Bruce Woolley H.Q. Network

Hi all,
I know that many of your are also interested in Thomas Dolby. Take a look and more importantly a listen to these guys.

They are doing a complete play-through of Thomas's The Golden Age Of Wireless, live in February and they are brilliant. I know the guys and have seen them play before. They are really spot-on.

Check it out. Tickets are selling fast and it not a big venue. I'm coming over from Finland, there are people travelling from the US and even Australia for this event.

'Just thought you might be interested. If you can make it it would be great to put faces to names.

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Jon,

I have my ticket along with my 2 brothers and a friend - staying at the Travelodge about 5 miles away. Further to this Thomas Dolby himself is now appearing on the Sunday night in London and rumour has it that Bruce Woolley will be a guest and even Trevor Horn is a possible.

These events will be great - and hope upon hope I finally get to see Bruce in the flesh

In Ilslington 2 years ago Bruce showed up in the queue for Thomas Dolby, resplendent in a white linen suit and straw boater. He looked really good. i was too shy to talk to him. I wish I had!

'Looking forward to meeting you at last!

Jon

Cannot wait to hopefully meet Bruce - always comes over as a really nice bloke - on saying that whenever I have received personal emails from Thomas, Bruce or Kevin Armstrong they have all seemed great guys would love to meet Kevin & Matthew as well.

In a way it is a pity that it isn't a get together where we could also hear tunes from other Dolby related groups - eg Low Noise, Camera Club, Local Heroes SW9 as so many of the original musicians are hopefully there.Best of all for me would be to do a cover version of a Fallout Club song in honour of Trevor Herion, and a Camera Club song in honour of Rod Johnson.

Is it me, or are we presuming that Thomas is also going to be the 'special guest' at the Pirate Twins gig. Are you staying at the location - I couldn't afford that but as I say we only 5 miles away.
