Cannot wait to hopefully meet Bruce - always comes over as a really nice bloke - on saying that whenever I have received personal emails from Thomas, Bruce or Kevin Armstrong they have all seemed great guys would love to meet Kevin & Matthew as well…
In Ilslington 2 years ago Bruce showed up in the queue for Thomas Dolby, resplendent in a white linen suit and straw boater. He looked really good. i was too shy to talk to him. I wish I had!
'Looking forward to meeting you at last!
Jon
Hi Jon,
I have my ticket along with my 2 brothers and a friend - staying at the Travelodge about 5 miles away. Further to this Thomas Dolby himself is now appearing on the Sunday night in London and rumour has it that Bruce Woolley will be a gust a…
Hi all,
I know that many of your are also interested in Thomas Dolby. Take a look and more importantly a listen to these guys.

They are doing a complete play-through of Thomas's The Golden Age Of Wireles…
Correction: I was so beside myself after discovering this I wrote Urges. It was actually from Pedestrian Walkway which was a Trevor Herion track that Thomas played keys on.
It's so great to discover something new. especially when it's really old!…
I am just listening to the slower version from the US release FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!!
I bought this piece from the US a while ago as part of my TMDR collection but didn't realise that there was any different and always play from a rip of the CD…
Hey - its all cool.
And the coolest thing is that Bruce and his music is important enough to guys like you and Tim - and me - that we care enough to have a view on it. Anyway, what I want to know is - what stopped that tour turning the CC into a hu…
Yes, Islington was very cool indeed. I loved hearing the drum-less "One of Our Submarines" - hey, you don't have a copy of that, do you? I've not heard it since.
I saw Bruce this morning. He thought the diary thing was very funny. He also wondered where this legendary diary resides...?!
Bruce may know differently - as far as I know he is not contributing to the album. At the same time, I am looking at ways to create a new collaboration, so don't rule it out.
What else could we put on here that would be interesting to people?
Yes, I am a big Dolby head - though strangely enough, I discovered the Camera Club first. In 1981, when I was 11, my parents divorced, and a new step-brother had a copy of English Garden - he had seen them live, in Winchester I think. I was very much a Bowie fan (even at that age), and totally fell for the CC album. It became the soundtrack to that time for me.
In 1984 I first heard Dolby, and saw that Bruce sung sime backing vox, so the two sort of merged. It would be wierd (in my head) not to like one without liking the others. And you can see a lot of Bruce's influence in Tom's singing and songwriting as well.
Between you and me, I think that LL thing is hilarious! I'm really glad you posted it. and I totally agree - its public domain, its interesting, and its the sort of thing Bruce would also find funny. Tim is a very evangelical Christian, so that's why he finds that hard. Which is his thing to deal with, not yours.
I'm really glad you like the site. The covert agenda is to create a market for Bruce's music so that a. we can realistically release some old material b. we can launch some new material - all either Bruce or Bruce associated. I would very much hope that would involve TMDR...
Its also encouraging Bruce to revisit his CC past, and his more straight ahead rock side. Which is great.
Can you think of any more ways to get people signed up? The more we can demonstrate a market interest the better
