Dear all
Yes, its true, the orginal "Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club" album is about to be re-released on CD, with bonus tracks. It features the original American artwork, which is Bruce's personl favourite.
I know Bruce will want to update you more on this, so I'll leave that to him.

Last year my brothers and myself purchased a turntable to convert all our vinyl onto CD via the PC. Well for once I have to admit this has been money well spent although very time consuming. Firstly you get to put all your rare vinyl onto CD so you can play it in the car and then come across gems you had forgotten or even b-sides you may never have played before. On the other hand you also find tracks which you start to think why on earth did I buy that.
One major asset is being able to downloa… Continue

I am very excited about Thomas Dolby's, soon to be released album collections, Flat Earth and Golden Age of Wireless. We know Bruce worked with him on some of his productions on these two albums, but I am terribly curious if there were sessions with Bruce that were unreleased. Other than the fact that these Dolby albums are my favorites I am anxious to find more Woolley treasures amongst these Dolby's treasures :)
Here is a partial quote that drives me...
...I’ve included all peripheral songs… Continue

Hi all
Chris Evans interviewed Bruce and Trevor about "Video Killed the Radio Star", and the fact that it will be 30 years since the song was first a hit, asking "is this pop perfection?". The anniversary is officially September, so expect more of this type of interest as it gets nearer...
Check out the MP3 file on the music player, and thanks to 42hz...

I'm Karen, freind of Bruce.. singer of opera, psychic and facepainter... so all you peeps with kids under 11, get in touch!
As you may have read somewhere on this site before, I'm not actually entitled to be a fan, as I only know Bruce as a friend and don't know much of his music... However.. I've recently indulged in a googlefest and I LOVE 'English Garden ' As I sing opera and a bit of jazz purely for money, I want to do a totally indulgent 2 days in the studio singing what I don't get to sing… Continue
Hello;
My band, Dick and the Emotions, has recently started playing 'Video Killed..." after an absence of many, many years. Our original singer left and no-one could do it justice. After much pitch/arrangement manipulations we have something I think, for an old bunch of guys, Bruce would be OK with.
cheers;

Mike Hurst- The Producers Archives Volume 3 features two BW&TCC tracks- You Got Class and Clean Clean. Not sure if they are taken from UK or US masters, or whether they are different mixes. One of the previous volumes had VKTRS on. Again unsure which version was used.
Whoever Pete Dabell is, I guess he is holding some archive "English Garden" demos.

Good to see Mr Woolley is still inspiring people. I knew him years ago and I`ve still got an old revox recording of
a song called "Don`t Come Back" which sent me on the road of multitracking madness.
I`ve still got a tape of the rough demo`s from Eden studio which his guitarist (Dave Birch) gave me some months before the LP came out, I believe the drummer on these(and the subsequent L.P. wasn`t Rod J… Continue

Permit me to introduce myself. I am Sir Devin Starke, noted composer and champagne aficionado. Some of you may remember my "Wow and Flutter Concerto" or perhaps my electro-metal masterwork "Let Me Saturate Your Tape", which I still feel would have been a hit had it not been banned upon its release. Way ahead of its time, that one.
I received my music degree from the Tokyo Transistor Corporation and am now composer/music director for the infamous floating radio station known as ZXR RadioSeaDrome… Continue

The kind of ideas that Bruce and I are developing are the type that come after the phrase "wouldn't it be cool to...". This website was one of those - "wouldn't it be cool to gather together all the people who are interested in BW music". Another idea is a song idea that's been kicking around, and I met up with Bruce last night to finalise some production arrangements for its demo.… Continue
